| Top 20 Chartlist | 2003 Music Charts | 2003 Top 100 | 2002 Top 100 | Sillypore Music Awards | Christmas Top 10 |

Believe it or not it is the 100th week anniversary of sillypore.com, and to commemorate this special 'milestone' here's the top 100 songs in the land! The chartlist is based on chart toppers throughout the year. 20 points are awarded at position #1, 19 at position #2 and so on. Songs at position #20 are awarded 1 point. All tracks must hold the #1 position for at least 2 months running in order to qualify for Top 5 placing.

1   Destiny's Child - Emotion   A song which I played over and over the whole year. #1 for 4 months in a row. A song my ex left me with..such a sappy #1 eh?

Nelly Feat Kelly Rowland - Dilemma
A recent song, yet one that goes on and on in my head. Kelly must be obsessed with Nelly..hey that rhymes!

Natalie Imbruglia - Wrong Impression
Natalie..who is better known for her list of bfs rather then for her music. Official song for my Sydney vacation.

Five- Closer To Me
Listened to it a lot when my BGR ended. Reflected a lot of how I felt back then. Also official song of my NY trip.

Kylie Minogue - Can't Get You Outta My Head
One of THE songs of the year. There are some anti kylie's out there. Why? Jealous of her success?

Las Ketchup - The Ketchup Song
A macarena style song if you ask me. #1 for 2 weeks in a row, I like this one...yeh.

Limp Bizkit - Rollin'
Listened to this a HELL lot during gym trainings. For that PUSH. Also winner of 2 awards at the RMA last year.

Kylie Minogue - It's In Your Eyes
Second track after can't get you outta my head. Very popular earlier this year.

Pink - Just Like A Pill
From the album Missundaztood, this song goes around in circles. I don't really understand this song. If you do please email me?

U2 - One
A surprising position for this song.It has something to do with a tv trailer which they used this track. Similar to how Christina's beautiful became more well-known. This one an excellent one nonetheless.

Norah Jones - Don't Know Why
Jones who isn't really a jazz singer, has what it takes to go further. She was in Singapore just recently. As a jazz lover, there must be at least one jazz song up here? It is the only one actually.

Robbie Williams - Eternity
Fomer Take That member, he has certainly got successful in his solo career. 1/2 of my fav songs from Robbie.

Too Phat - Boogie Down
Hailing from Malaysia I bring you Too Promising Hot And Talented! They are really good. Great job guys!

Marque - Electronic Lady
A track I liked from the very first time I listened to it. Blast it loud and you'll know what I mean.

Love United - Live For Love United
A track done by 45 FIFA soccer players from around the world to raise money and increase awareness for AIDS. Was at its peak during the World Cup.

Gorillaz - 19-2000
La la la la la! Just a catchy tune actually. No big deal. This is the soulchild remix.

Christian Wunderlich - So In Love
Seems like a one hit wonder so far. Was at the Radio Music Awards. We had this song in our heads for months!

Michelle Branch - Everywhere To Me
Released in the first half of the year this song is a former #1 on many charts. She plays the guitars and is inspired by artistes like the beatles and aerosmith.

The Corrs - Don't Say You Love
OOooo Andrea Corr! I love you! Just kidding...

Chemical Brothers - Starguitar
Another official song of my sydney trip. Don't really like the intro of the song but it gets better. Not a favourite genre of music but this one brings back lotsa memories and deserves its spot at #20.Lenghty download, be warned!

Geri Halliwell - Calling
The hot and spicy ginger spice from the spice girls. The most successful spice girl by far. Shows that you don't need to marry a soccer player to be KNOWN.

Five For Fighting - Superman
One of the classics of the year. This song just goes on and on...also used by Smallville in it's ST.

Safri Duo - Played A Live
AKA Bongo Song. I am sure many of you have heard it at some point. They hail from Denmark. The undisputed freshest music in years.

Enrique Iglesias - Hero
Son of Julio Iglesias, this Spanish father and son duo has taken the world over by storm. For 7 years now, Enrique continues to dominate the charts.

J Lo - Play
Now known as Jenny, this is an old song actually. Goes all the way back to early last year. I pretty much like Kylie and Jenny's latest releases this past 2 years.

Rodrigues - Borriquito
First released late last year, this artiste keeps a low profile indeed. Not much info about him. Not that I know anyhows.

Atomic Kitten - Cradle
Now that is what I call a modern lullaby!

Pink - Get The Party Started
A generic entry in most top 40 dance clubs..a pretty good song to warm up the public.

No Angels - Daylight In Your Eyes
I know I sound like a himbo by saying that I'll melt if someone says the one liner to me but oh well now that I have revealed it, no count!..*shrugs*

Urban Xchange - I Wanna Be Like Jackie Chan
Remember the group who did the Coca cola "Life tastes good" commercial? Our very own local band, who says they are not a band, but rather, Urban Xchange is a place where people meet to do music.

Oscar Dela Hoya - Run To Me
A remake of the Bee Gees song, this professional boxer sure took the challenge and did it well!

J Lo - Let's Get Loud
An undisputed dance anthem. Last I heard she gave a cologne to Affleck and best friend Daemon complained over the 'smell'..

Sophie Ellis Bextor - Murder On A Dance Floor
She also did groovejet with DJ Spiller, it took her to fame. Just like how Eminem helped Dido break into the scene.

Santanna Feat Michelle Branch - The Game of Love
A favourite with many, especially with someone I know named Sky. Unfortunately it doesn't look good for the #1 position in the P10 Top 20. But it IS a great song. If it was released earlier the song would have gone higher up here.

Chad Kroeger - Hero
The man behind Nickelback, taken off the ST of Spiderman, he started playing the guitar since he was 13. He was also thrown into detention for breaking into his school 11 times.

Samantha Mumba - Always Come Back To Your Love
This Irish R&B sensation sings, dances and co-writes her own song. I love this sorta R&B songs. Something like Aaliyah and R.Kelly, who didn't make it up here..

Gweneth Paltrow & Huey Lewis - Cruising Together
A pretty uncanny match, almost a misfit. Paltrow with her debut appearance, from the duets ST.

Shakira - Whenever, Wherever
Seems like a favourite to many, somehow this song bores me after a while. Very latino I must say.

Uncle Kracker - Follow Me
Eons away from looking like an ah chek, this Detroit dude has another song I like, titled In A Little While.

Mis Teeq - One Night Stand
A girl who sure knows how to have fun!It is about dancing with her girlfriends, in case you are thinking otherwise..

Too Phat - Freak To The Beat
Second song from the dudes on the charts which is in fact one of their first releases. You reckon they have dance steps?

Paul Oakenfold - Starry Eyed Surprise
With vocals by Shifty Shellshock from Crazy Town, this song reminds me of Rachel...hmm. Not as popular as The Ketchup Song though, looking at ratings.

Urban Xchange - Stupid
Second big hit from them. Started with 8, now I hear one guy has left the group. I sure hope they'll sit down and make some music soon.

Madonna - Die Another Day
OST the bond movie of the same title, this one was a huge hit even before we smelt bond! I do admire her, despite how a lot of people say madonna fans are faggots. You know who you are. :P

Ricky Martin - She Bangs
A track from 2001, I prefer Amor. This one is high up here probably cause it started the year on a good note, and that matters in chart listing.

Sugar Babes - Round Round
Same bunch of people who did Overload and Run for cover, this one really takes me in circles. (duh) Catchy tune at the beginning but slowly tapers off as you listen to it more.

Marc Anthony - I Need You
A song many of us can relate to. The sequel to this song? A track titled I've got you.

Westlife - Bop Bop Baby
Nice song, but they don't give the best interviews around here. I'll pick A1 to be the better band anytime, but this year I have a new fav group :P Okay okay they seem to be all boy bands SO WHAT? :P You don't like boybands? So what is that westlife CD doing among your collection?

Suede - Positivity
Lead by Brett Anderson, this UK band that did good tracks in their career.Positivity being the first single off their new album, A New Morning.

Sugar Ray - Falls Apart
With hits like Falls Apart, Fly and Someday, either song could have been up here. One of my favoured rock bands, Answer The Phone is one of their latest tracks which somehow failed to make a huge impact.

Westlife - What Makes A Man
Awww..come on girl, tell the man what he needs to hear now. The men..don't get it? As usual?

No Doubt - Hey Baby
Gweny gwen is back with this tune. They went on to do "Underneath it all" later in the year.

Usher - You Remind Me
Though not exactly a song of 2002, I've been listening to this song pretty much, why, I don't really know either. I'm mad..yes I know thank you.

Sophie Ellis Bextor - Get Over You
Does sound similar to groovejet doesn't it? It's so...dance like, but I kinda like it. You can move and groove with someone. Hands on her hips and all, with these...hee hee

Abs - What You've Got
Abs, from the group Five (though he doesn't like to be known as Abs from Five) has gone solo! Though unplanned, his first release What You've Got is quite a cool track!

Gareth Gates - Anyone Of Us
Gates is quite popular with his song Unchain Melody in UK. It is their kinda music. I usually prefer most original songs.

N Sync - I'll Never Stop
If you want a pick up line from me, how bout "God must have spent a little more time on you". So corny eh. But it's sweet.

Ricky Martin - Amor
Taken off Sound Loaded, this highly successful Puerto Rican has sold more then 32 million (and counting!) albums worldwide.

New Radicals - You Get What You Give
An Oldie mouldie but still goodie, I cannot get enough of this song. A refreshing song to the last bit I must say.

John Mayer - Your Body Is A Wonderland
Following up to "No Such Thing" amongst other great songs, this tangerine juice lover feels people misunderstands his confidence for arrogance. Aint that typical? I'm sure it relates to you, or someone close at least.

Robbie Williams - Feel
Robbie's latest song! A song that I've been listening to a lot this month. It climbed so high within a couple of weeks cause it has clinched the #1 spot for december. I can relate to this song A LOT. A whole damm lot.

Vanessa Carlton - A Thousand Miles
An artiste who came from humble backgrounds, she never gave up pursuing her dreams. She has also been named one of the top 10 artiste to watch for in 2002 by rolling stones. Good on you mate!

Marc Anthony - I've Got You
No real offense to lovers of such songs, but why is it all about men being the underdogs all the time? It's CRAP. If every man was to think like the words in the Westlife and "I need you", then, I think the world would be under the female dominatrix.

Wiseguys - Ohh La La
Touche, the man behind The Wiseguys still finds it weird that the tune made such a hit. Check out their album The Antidote. It contains another track that I like, Commotion.

Ewan McGregor & Nicole Kidman - Come What May
Moulin Rouge anyone? It is a pretty whinny tune, not very much in love with it, but it was a good show and boy I love blue eyes..check out how many pairs of blue eyes there are in the movie.

J Lo Feat. The Lox - Jennifer From The Block
A new hit by J Lo, now known as simply Jenny. She is now filiming "Jersey Girl" at this time of writing. Watch out for it!

Too Phat - Just A Friend
Doing a cover of the Mario song, with lyrics of their own, Too Phat sings of this girl named Jenny. I like this tune too. Cool stuff.

Usher - You Got It Bad
Here is one guy who isn't just contented with money from album sales. He fines his dancers $10 for every dance mistake they make. Allegedly.

Sheikh Haikel - Witulah
With a little help from Syed Munir and Terry Lee from Urban Xchange, this song was a hit on Perfect 10 just about when Too Phat came into the scene as well. Future singapore king of rap? Well that remains to be seen. For now, he's Witulah, every step of the way.

All Star Tribute - What's Going On
Featuring Ja Rule, Britney, Aguilera, Bono, P Diddy,Gwen Stefani, J Lo, BSB and more, this is a remake of the Marvin Gaye song. It is done in memory of the Sept 11 incident and to raise funds for the victims.

No Doubt - Underneath It All
Also featuring Lady Saw, this track harks back to No Doubt’s original obsession with Caribbean ska and reggae. This track is vastly different from their soapy first hit title "Don't speak".

Remy Zero - Save Me
A track made popular by the smallville trailer, this song was new on 987fm in december. But between this and five for fighting, I'll go for the latter instead.

BB Mak - Still On Your Side
An oldie song now but it has great lyrics. I could shout to this one! Former #1 hit and will always be a good song to me.

Soluna - For All Time
I wonder if they ever knew there is a car named after her? :P A great song that comes as a shocker with the low ranking unfortunately. Guess I never liked Toyotas eh?

Jimmy Eat World - It Just Takes Sometime
These 4 guys started from modest beginnings back in 1994. Their self titled album also includes the track "Sweetness".

Celine Dion - A New Day Has Come
Celine has got a new show coming up, titled A NEW SHOW, stick around for that. Coming from a french speaking city in Canada, I was quite impressed when she recorded songs in english after having learnt it for 5 years only.

Jennifer Paige - These Days
From the good ole days when her #1 hit "Crush" went on the air waves, "These days" was taken off her second album, Positively Somewhere.

Naz - Rule
I don't know much about this rapper. Not much info on him. Anyone care to fill up this space? But it's quite a cool track..who's da female voice in there?

Toploader - Dancing In The Moonlight
An old song from 2000, I don't even know why it is on the charts. But it did spend 80 weeks on the top 100 airplay chart. No small feat indeed.

Shakira - Objection (tango)
The very latest to hit the charts from Shakira, she's a child prodigy who wrote her songs at age 8, speaks 3 languages and is a perfectionist! Looking forward in hearing more from her.

Leann Rimes - Life Goes On
Remember "Can't fight the moonlight"?LeAnn Rimes has gone from that “little girl with the big voice” to a woman who knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to fight to get it.

P.Diddy Feat. Usher - I Need A Girl
CEO and founder of Bad Boy Entertainment, Sean "P.Diddy" Combs has been integrating different music genres and in the process, has given birth to a new and unique form. Question is, who is he dating now? I prefer this one to I need a girl part 2.

Red Hot Chili Peppers - The Zephyr Song
A band that has come a long way. Remember "Give it away now"? Their latest songs include the above, By The Way, Californiacation, Scar Tissue and Otherside.

OPM - Heaven Is A Halfpipe
A relative new band in the scene, this song is taken off their album Menace to Sobriety.

Shaggy - Hey Sexy Lady
Taken off his latest album Lucky Day, the album also features the latest song, Strength Of A Woman. It's all about the woman, again!!

Kasey Chambers - Not Pretty Enough
Released sometime in 2001, she wrote the song while thinking about the music industry, thinking why she didn't fit into the format. A little bitching but nonetheless a great track.

Kylie Minogue - Come Into My World
After "Love At First Sight", this single has a very interesting mtv, featuring quite a few Kylies. Quite a few of everyone in fact. It has certainly been a big year for Kylie, claiming more then a few spots on the chart lists.

Christina Aguilera - Beautiful
A track that was low on profile here till Channel 5 used it for one of its trailers. Since then it has caught the attention of many and have been climbing the charts. Pretty inspirational I must say.

Safri Duo - Baya Baya
I think it's an interesting tune. Ironically, the world of classical music embraced the unorthodox duo though I wonder how it is possible to interpret classical music in this way.

Will Smith - Black Suits Comin
OST Men In Black II, this fresh prince has released his greatest hits album. Nod ya head, yo!

Ms Dynamite - It Takes More
Another newcomer to the music scene, she was to do a version of "Feel" with Robbie Williams but it got shelved. She's not pissed though. Good on ya Niomi!

Christina Aguilera - Dirrty
This song actually beat

Shania Twain - I'm Gonna Getcha (Good)
This song is all about a girl who knows what she wants, she not only knows how to get it, but she¹s going to get it good. Shania's catering to fans world wide these days. The green album is for country fans, blue has a latin-asian feel to it, and red is...pop! She's starting her tour soon, watch out for her, world!

Blue & Sir Elton John - Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word
Though it is really an Elton John song, Blue has been churning out hit after hit and I'm not ashamed to list them group of the year. If there is a boy band you should listen to, try blue.

Escape Club -I'll Be There
Released in 1986, this personal favourite has me playing the track on and on.The Escape Club formed in London, England in 1982 from the remains of two bands; The Expressos and Mad Shadows. They didn't officially split up, just gradually drifted apart until by 1992 it didn't look like they'd be making another record. Good luck guys. Hope you'll be tempted to come back with new songs soon.

O Town - These Are The Days
New this month, these 5 guys (sorry, no girl) met in Orlando, and with a little help from their fans, came up with their name "O Town".

David Usher - Black Black Heart
Taken off the album Morning Orbit, some describe this song as an angry rock song. Love it, or hate it.

Shakira - Underneath Your Clothes
A change of tempo from a typical Shakira track. You'll like this one.

Avril Lavigne - Complicated
This skater punk 17 year old wowed people since she was 2. She believes in her confidence and determination and does what is 'her'. Her second hit, sk8er boi, stayed at the charts for weeks.

Atomic Kitten - The Last Goodbye
Brand new from the girls, this track is 1/2 of the double A side single which also includes "Be with You". Great song, thanks Fika! An older song I love from AK is craddle. Fab!
